The Lapidary - Crypt can be found in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Bale.
At the time of the construction of the present church, the stone remains of the older church were stored in the crypt. There is also a lapidary here in which stone sculptures and fragments of decorative stone plastics are kept as well as liturgical furniture dating back to the period of antiquity to the late Middle Ages. The crypt also preserves a sarcophagus from 1595 that holds the remains of Saint Julian, patron saint of Bale.
