Teams of four and obstacle-course strategy

RTL and Slovenia's Planet TV produced Fittest Family. Fourteen families of four took part, tackling physical challenges that also required them to agree on how to complete each course. Coaches helped the families devise a strategy and make use of each team member's strengths.

The coaches included handball goalkeeper Vlado Šola and skier Nika Fleiss. Presenter Doris Pinčić Rogoznica guided the families through the competition's challenges.

Fort Forno, a fortress on the coast near Bale, was among the filming locations. The production team worked there on 8 April 2019 during the spring shoot in the Bale area.
