From April 1 to October 31 in Bale:
A number of good bands, eccentric exhibitions, performances, theater plays...
The world is changing and so are we. Living conditions and livelihoods are adapting to the increasingly destructive trends of neglecting the true values of art as an essential need in every form of homo sapiens evolution. Art is refracted through a social handrail set up in dirty backyards intended for beating the carpets and, however, getting rid of the dust.
Last Minute Open Jazz Festival means: the moment to save the dignity of art and the way people communicate has come. For fifteen years, our intention was to implement our way of communicating with the audience, visitors and people in "Kamene priče", a tavern and a kind of cultural club, in cooperation with Bale as a place of good intentions for the development of standards of mind and living.
There are almost no people and countries from which musicians did not come to play in Bale. By this internationalization of great cultural power, through all 15 years we have built a core of healthy art.
The festival continues and the novelty is that it fits into an even bigger project called the Art Symposium Bale-Valle 2021. Over the years, jazz itself has brought together an already extremely strong audience interwoven with artists of various kinds. The need to "expand the area of struggle" is more than necessary in the emerging reality.
We do not give up on the honest and clear message that artists want to send to the world through us who provide them with a platform, a backdrop, a stage, an audience.
The Art Symposium grew naturally as a result of long gatherings of special and diverse people who create art. Through the symposium as a feast of art, we return to ancient Greece, we evoke clear polemics, tribunes, workshops, every kind of art from visual through musical all to spoken and written word.
Whether it wants it or not, the world is spinning. From analog to digital and vice versa. What we want is to maintain the natural flow of rotation without excessive acceleration and without the influence of gravity. We want to survive and be self-sustaining and meaningful.
Welcome to this Art Symposium in Bale still vague in reality, but complete in dreams, a few steps from the sea, at the very entrance to the Mediterranean core of scents and hearts.
