Bale’s coast stretches for almost nine kilometres, with rocky coves and pine trees. San Polo and Colone offer beaches with more facilities.

San Polo and Colone: beaches beside the campsites

Bale itself is inland. From the old town, the road to the sea leads to the San Polo and Colone beach areas, beside the campsites. Pebble beaches alternate with rocky stretches, with restaurants and other seaside facilities available in summer.

Colone is not the name of a single beach. The area includes Mol Grande, Mulini and Porto Bus, while San Polo is a separate part of the coast.

Coves away from the developed beaches

Summer facilities are not spread evenly along the shore. Between the developed stretches are less equipped rocky coves, with pine trees and Mediterranean vegetation.
