About the Play:

The plot of “Tere and Luce” begins on a rainy morning that, seemingly ordinary, quickly becomes a turning point in the lives of the main characters, Tere and Luce. This is a story that explores human nature through a range of genres – from black comedy, burlesque, drama, satire, crime to thriller. Inspired by the unperformed text “No good deeds…” by S. Evans, the play has been fully adapted for the Croatian audience. Through the story, we follow how Tere and Luce make difficult decisions that will change their lives forever.

Anja Šovagović-Despot as Tere delivers a powerful and emotional performance that perfectly balances between humor and drama.

Nataša Janjić Medančić, as Luce, brings the character to life with her talent, being both humorous and serious, giving the audience a deep insight into everyday challenges and moral dilemmas.

The play was adapted and directed by Marko Torjanac, with costume design by Đurđa Janeš. Lighting and sound design is by Darko Crnčević, and the design is by Tomislav Veltruski. Technical support is provided by Jadranko Herceg, Petar Kinđerski, Darko Crnčević, and Borna Tomić.
