Wander through the Istrian desert and take unique photos

Have you already heard of the Istrian desert? It is located in the proximity of Grožnjan and very close to a small village Šterna. And no, this is not a desert one would immediately think of. The Istrian desert consists of marl dunes. 

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see marl dunes in Istria if they weren’t situated one next to another in such great numbers. It is certainly a special feeling to get lost amongst this small, but impressive desert.
