Grand Park Hotel Rovinj: choosing a room and staying by the marina
At Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, rooms face the park, sea or marina. Some rooms and suites have their own small private pool.
Room views and space
The hotel has 209 rooms and suites with balconies or terraces. Premium Park View overlooks the surrounding greenery, while Premium Sea View faces the sea and Rovinj’s old town. The Deluxe Sea View room for two has a small private pool in front of its balcony.
Connecting Park View accommodates up to four people in two double rooms linked by a private hallway, with two bathrooms and two balconies.
Pets can stay for an extra charge, but are not allowed in the hotel’s pools, beach areas, restaurants or bars.
The pool floor and the island beach
The fifth floor has three freshwater pools. The 50-metre sports pool connects the indoor and outdoor areas. Albaro Wellness & Spa also has saunas and steam rooms. Access to the wellness and spa area is included in the stay, while treatments cost extra. The centre is exclusively for Grand Park guests.
For swimming in the sea, hotel guests receive boat transport from Delfin pier to the island of Sveta Katarina, plus loungers and parasols on a designated part of its pebble beach. Beach service runs from mid-June to September, weather permitting.
Meals and walks from the hotel
Laurel & Berry serves a buffet breakfast and à la carte lunch and dinner. For a tasting-menu evening, Cap Aureo offers menus by chef Jeffrey Vella, including a vegetarian option. Everyone at the same table chooses one menu, with reservations required in advance. Agli Amici Rovinj, on the promenade linking the hotel and marina, offers tasting menus by chef Emanuele Scarello.
Lungomare Plaza runs alongside the hotel’s ground floor. Primi Terreni Restaurant & Deli has charcoal-grilled dishes and an Istrian delicatessen shop, while Katarina’s Patisserie serves cakes and ice cream. From the hotel, you can walk towards the old town or Zlatni rt forest park. Standard bicycles are free for guests, while electric bikes are hired separately.
