Stay in linked old houses in Bale or in La Grisa’s separate Annex building. The hotel has rooms and suites, an indoor pool and saunas.
From neighbouring houses to a hotel
Owner Lutvo Murić began by buying an abandoned house. Over five years, he brought together eleven plots with neighbouring houses to create the hotel. Its layout follows the idea of a small town: rooms stand for houses, and corridors for streets and passageways. La Grisa takes its name from an old street in Bale.
Rooms, the Annex and suites
There is a single room for solo travellers, while Standard and Superior rooms accommodate two. Comfort rooms start at 28 m² and sleep 2+1, with a double bed or twin beds and a sofa bed. Annex Comfort rooms are in a separate hotel building and accommodate two people.
The suites provide more space to spend time together. Suite 209, for example, starts at 50 m² and has a bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed and two bathrooms, with a maximum occupancy of four. The Romantic Suite accommodates two.
Pool, saunas and the hotel restaurant
The spa has an indoor pool, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish steam room and a relaxation area with tea. There is also a small fitness room.
La Grisa restaurant welcomes diners who are not staying at the hotel. It occupies the site of the former Alla Pace inn. You can have lunch or dinner here, choosing Istrian meat and fish dishes alongside wines from Istria and other Croatian wine regions.
