San Rocco Hotel in Brtonigla occupies the restored Fernetich family estate. Taste their olive oils in the hotel's oil shop or among the olive trees.
Room layout and stay conditions
Rita and Tullio Fernetich converted their family estate into a hotel in 2004. Its three buildings once housed the family, livestock, tools and carts. Accommodation is spread between the main building and annexes with separate entrances.
Classic rooms are smaller rooms with a bathtub. Suite Cavalier occupies two floors of the former stable, has two bathrooms and accommodates up to three people with an extra bed.
Check-in is from 3 pm to 11 pm and check-out from 5 am to 11 am. Pets are allowed on request.
Indoor wellness and outdoor pool
The outdoor pool stands beside the park and olive grove. The indoor wellness area has a separate pool, a sauna and hydromassage facilities. Massages are also available.
Dinner and tastings of the family's olive oils
San Rocco Restaurant offers seasonal tasting menus, with optional wine pairings for individual courses. Dishes include fish, meat, mushrooms and truffles, depending on seasonal availability.
The Fernetich family also produces olive oils from Leccino, Buža and Bjelica olives. The restaurant uses their oils, and guests can taste them at a guided tasting among the olive trees or in the hotel's oil shop, then buy them to take home.
