On Friday and Saturday (27 & 28 June) the jazz tavern Kamene priče in Bale will host a special female acoustic tandem from Banja Luka — singer Vanja Mišić and pianist Sanja Zelić.

More than ten years of joint music-making have shaped their distinctive sound, blending original songs, local evergreens and world classics.

Synergy of Two Strong Musicians

Vanja and Sanja are known on the Banja Luka scene for winning audiences with emotive performances and warm, intimate shows. Their long-standing friendship flows into music full of trust and mutual complementing — sometimes a single glance is enough to steer the next improvisation.

A Varied Repertoire in an Acoustic Guise

• Original songs by Vanja Mišić, such as the well-known ballad “Prstima”, bring intimate stories and a strong female authorial touch.
• World hits by Adele, Amy Winehouse, Billie Eilish and others gain a new minimalist cloak of voice and piano.
• Domestic classics of the ex-Yu scene — from Indexi to more modern pop-rock favourites — arrive in fresh arrangements with jazz, swing or reggae shades.

The duo create the set list “on the fly”, often surprising the audience with an unexpected twist: from a gentle sevdalinka to a virtuoso jazz riff.
