Note: due to possible rain, Saturday’s PDEX Tributo a Pino Daniele Experience concert is moved from Saturday to Friday, August 1 at 22:30 at Trg Tomaso Bembo.

If on Saturday, August 2 there is no rain, PDEX Tributo a Pino Daniele Experience will hold a second concert at Trg Tomaso Bembo.

At this year’s edition of the Last Minute Open Jazz Festival in Bale, brilliant jazz musicians from BiH, the USA, Italy and Austria will perform. Audiences can expect four evenings of diverse programming with the distinctive atmosphere of the region’s most renowned jazz festival.

Friday, August 1

21:00 – BDB Trio & Jeff Crompton (BIH, USA)

The BDB Trio is a young American–Sarajevo ensemble founded in 2023, featuring guitarist Eddie Beho, bassist Dinko Šimunović and drummer Boris Šikuljak. Their style mixes jazz, blues, rock and fusion into an unpredictable yet engaging whole. At the Last Minute Open Jazz Festival in Bale, the set will be completed by Jeff Crompton, a saxophonist from Atlanta with over 40 years of experience, known for collaborations with Eugene Chadbourne and Mike Baggetta.

22:30 – PDEX Tributo a Pino Daniele Experience (IT)

This six-member Italian tribute to Pino Daniele (Anthony Roccolano, Raffaele Buglione, Massimiliano Di Franco, Marco Mottola, Stefano Naclerio and Fabrizio Zappamiglio) delivers authentic renditions of his most famous songs, blending Italian blues and jazz in a passionate arrangement.

Saturday, August 2

If Saturday, August 2 remains dry, we’ll return to Trg Tomaso Bembo for the same PDEX concert you heard on Friday.

Sunday, August 3

21:00 – Alpha Trianguli (AT)

The Vienna-based quartet Alpha Trianguli (Alois Eberl, Florian Klinger, Philipp Kienberger and Jakob Kammerer) draws inspiration from the vastness of space. After acclaimed performances in Austria, Germany and the USA, they arrive in Bale with fresh energy and melodic innovation.

Monday, August 4

21:00 – Edoardo Liberati Synthetics Trio (IT)

This Rome-based trio, led by guitarist and composer Edoardo Liberati, alongside Dadio Piccioni on double bass and Riccardo Marchese on drums, merges modern jazz and post-bop with rich improvisation and dynamic stage presence.
