Carmina Burana + brings Carl Orff's famous scenic cantata to Pula Arena in a large production by SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana, with music, movement, light and projections.

This is not a standard concert version. Arena Pula presents it as a blend of music, stage movement, lighting effects and video mapping, with Everyman facing Fortuna.

Programme and performance

SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana performs the programme with choir, ballet and orchestra, together with soloists and dancers. Direction and stage design are by Manfred Schweigkofler, Marko Hribernik conducts and Lukas Zuschlag choreographs the dancers.

Pula Arena is about 21 kilometres from Bale, roughly 23 minutes by car. Bale is a calm base for an evening out and an easier return away from the city crowds. See: accommodation in Bale.
