In the first act, viewers follow the story of a married couple meeting in the same apartment where they spent their first wedding night, celebrating their 35th anniversary. The wife, played by Ksenija Pajić, is excited about the meeting, while the husband, played by Zijad Gračić, forgets the anniversary, thinking his wife got the date wrong. This story about love and infidelity explores the dynamics of their relationship where the wife is a devoted spouse, while the husband is having an affair with his young secretary. Humorous and lifelike dialogues, along with the presence of a waiter played by Mladen Čutura, bring laughter and a critical reflection on marital relationships, situations many will recognize from their own lives.

Second Act: Old Love and New Beginnings

The second act brings the encounter between a film producer and his youthful love. They were in a relationship when young, but life separated them, and she married a man they both knew. Now, she is a married woman and mother of three, but her life with her husband is unfulfilling. The producer, played by Mladen Čutura, has become successful but emotionally unhappy, with three failed marriages behind him. He wants to renew his relationship with his youthful love (Natalija Đorđević) to find lost happiness. The story is set in Popovača, making it relatable to the local audience, and through humorous dialogues, misunderstandings, and character traits that bring laughter and nostalgia are revealed.

Third Act: Wedding Chaos

The third act depicts a married couple preparing for their daughter's wedding. However, the daughter locks herself in a room, refusing to get married, causing panic and despair for the father (Zijad Gračić) who is worried about the high wedding costs. Through comical situations and attempts to resolve the problem, the story ends happily, bringing relief and laughter to the audience. In this act, along with Zijad Gračić, Ksenija Pajić, Natalija Đorđević, and Mladen Čutura perform, each contributing uniquely to this chaotic and humorous situation.

Scenography and Production

The scenography for the play "Hotel Plaza" was designed by Miljenko Sekulić. The scenography is modern and adaptable, allowing for easy adjustments for different stages and traveling groups.
