Sanc. Michael near Svetvinčenat: a wooden castle and family games
Sanc. Michael is a theme park with a wooden castle in Raponji. Archery, animals and puzzles are part of an outdoor outing for families.
In November 2026, the park is closed for its winter break. Reopening is planned for spring, with no exact date announced.
On an estate about three kilometres west of Svetvinčenat, wooden towers and walls form a setting for medieval-themed play. Sanc. Michael is a modern theme park, separate from the historic Morosini-Grimani Castle on the town’s main square, Placa. Costumed activity leaders guide visitors through activities around the wooden castle.
Guided activities and castle puzzles
Four guided activities rotate every half hour during the season. Alongside archery, there are pony rides, rides in a donkey-drawn carriage and a large wooden carousel.
Inside the castle, visitors solve four escape puzzles designed for adults too. Between guided activities, you can explore mazes and treehouses linked by suspension bridges. The park also has farm animals. Feeding them is not allowed because they follow a prescribed diet.
Food and arrival
In the rest area, you can eat grilled food served on handmade ceramic tableware. Food and drinks are charged separately from admission.
Free parking is available in front of the park’s main gate in Raponji. You can combine a visit with a walk around the Renaissance Placa and a tour of the castle in Svetvinčenat.
