PCR testing for COVID-19 in Rijeka

Rijeka’s NZZJZ PGŽ offers RT-PCR testing. Its respiratory sampling point is outside the building at Krešimirova 52a.

Respiratory samples are taken at a separate sampling point, while the reception desk for other microbiological tests is on the ground floor of the building. Testing is available with a doctor’s referral or as a self-funded service, paid for at the Institute before testing.

For self-funded testing, bring an identity card or passport. Insured patients with a referral present their health insurance card for identification and retrieval of the electronic referral. Results for referrals covered by Croatia’s HZZO health insurance are sent to the referring doctor and are available through e-Građani on the Zdravlje health portal.
