Pazin zipline across the Pazin Abyss

Cross the Pazin Abyss on zipline cables measuring 220 and 280 metres. The starting point below Hotel Lovac is close to the town centre.

From the edge of the Pazin Abyss, you can see the cliff topped by the castle and look down into the chasm as you cross. The 220-metre section ends at the Writers’ House. The longer ride takes you back towards the viewpoint above Babina kuća cave, followed by a walk to the starting point.

Getting ready and walking back

Before you set off, the guides explain the procedure and fit the equipment, including a harness and helmet. Two guides accompany the activity. The rides themselves are short, so allow time for getting ready, waiting your turn and returning on foot. The return path leads uphill, an important consideration if you find climbs difficult.

The regular season runs from May to September. From October to April, visits require advance arrangements for a group of at least five people.
