Valamar Sanfior in Rabac: Hotel and Casa by Lanterna Beach
Valamar Sanfior in Rabac comprises a Hotel and a Casa by the sea. The Hotel has an indoor pool, the Casa an outdoor pool with water features.
The four-star complex offers rooms and suites for couples and families, sleeping up to four people depending on the unit. Casa guests can also use the facilities of the nearby Hotel, so choosing the Casa does not limit swimming to its outdoor pool.
Pools at the Hotel and Casa
The Hotel has an outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool measuring 132 square metres. The Casa has a larger outdoor pool with water features, and both outdoor pool areas also have a children's pool. Poolside loungers and parasols are available at no extra charge, subject to availability.
The wellness area is in the Hotel. Massages and treatments cost extra.
Half board with buffet meals
Breakfast and dinner are served in the buffet restaurant. Half board includes still soft drinks from dispensers during meals. Breakfast-only stays are available on selected promotional rates.
Pebbles, rocks and the coastal walk
Lanterna Beach has pebbly and rocky sections. Unlike those by the pools, beach loungers and parasols cost extra to hire. Pets are welcome in selected accommodation units but are not allowed on this beach.
Sanfior stands on the St Andrew peninsula, beside the coastal promenade towards Rabac's waterfront. The guide to Rabac links the seaside walk with the Sentona trail to Labin. Following that trail from Rabac to the old town means walking uphill.
