Hotel Monte Mulini in Rovinj: an adults-only stay on Lone Bay
Monte Mulini in Rovinj welcomes guests aged 16 and over. From the hotel on Lone Bay, walk to Mulini Beach and the Zlatni rt forest park.
Rovinj’s centre is around a kilometre and a half away, so you can combine a seaside stay with walks into town. Walking and cycling routes through Zlatni rt begin beside the hotel. The five-star hotel has 112 rooms and suites, refurbished as part of the investment programme after which it reopened in May 2026.
Room views and layouts
Choose a Deluxe room on the higher floors for a sea view. It has 39 m² of space, a balcony and a bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Premium rooms are the same size but occupy the ground floor, with views through the park’s greenery.
Junior and Junior Deluxe suites are in an annex beside the hotel. Alongside the bedroom, they have a living room, kitchen and additional bathroom. The Executive suite occupies two levels, with the entrance and living room upstairs and the bedroom and bathroom below.
The 39 m² Premium Accessible room is on the third floor. Its bathroom has a lower washbasin, a roll-in shower and grab rails by the toilet. Connecting it to the neighbouring Deluxe room provides accommodation for four adults.
Hotel pools and a public beach
Four outdoor freshwater pools are set in the garden and open seasonally. The smaller indoor pool has a counter-current swimming feature. Towels, sun loungers and parasols at the pools and on Mulini Beach are included for hotel guests.
The hotel’s age limit does not apply to the beach, which also welcomes families with children. Showers, changing cabins and toilets are available by the shore, while the beach bar opens from late spring to autumn. SUP boards and kayaks are available to hire separately.
Meals and arrival
Breakfast at Mediterraneo includes local cheeses and cold cuts, alongside dishes cooked to order. In the evening, the restaurant serves a set-menu dinner. Amatis offers a private dinner for two, with five courses from a changing menu and a dedicated waiter.
Riva Lounge serves dishes for sharing. Its private Riva Privée area, above the pool, can be booked for a private gathering. Bed and breakfast is among the accommodation options.
Parking is free for hotel guests, with a garage and valet service also available. Pets are allowed for an additional charge. Check-in is after 2 pm and check-out by noon.
