Boutique Hotel Mauro on Poreč’s waterfront
Boutique Hotel Mauro has 21 rooms between Poreč’s waterfront and old streets. Your choice of room determines whether you face the old town or the sea.
Mauro is a four-star hotel beside the old town of Poreč. From its historic waterfront building, you can walk to the Decumanus and the Euphrasian Basilica, then return along the harbour promenade. The location suits guests who want to explore the town and go out for dinner without driving in from a resort outside the centre.
Rooms facing the passage, streets or sea
The rooms differ first in their position. Classic rooms measure 20 to 23 m², with windows above the passage connecting the old town and waterfront. Premium rooms have 25 m² and face the old streets. Both categories have a large double bed.
Superior rooms have 32 m², a double bed and a Juliet balcony facing the sea, waterfront and Sveti Nikola island. A Juliet balcony has no sitting area like a terrace. A small single room with one single bed is available for solo stays. The hotel has air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, and the rooms have private bathrooms.
Breakfast before exploring the town
Staff serve breakfast on the sea-facing terrace or in the lobby. Alongside the buffet of cheeses, pršut and fruit, they prepare egg dishes. The hotel restaurant serves breakfast, while the nearby streets and waterfront offer places for lunch and dinner during a walk around town.
Arriving from the off-site car park
Guests arriving by car can use the Žatika car park at Karla Huguesa 26, outside the old town. A complimentary transfer runs from there to the hotel and back.
Check-in starts at 15:00, and check-out is from 07:00 to 11:00. Pets are not allowed.
