Koversada Covered Campsite near Vrsar: pitches and mobile homes
Koversada Covered is a clothed campsite near Vrsar, separate from naturist Uncovered. Camping extends from the mainland to a car-free island.
Koversada began as a naturist campsite in 1961. Today the resort consists of Covered and Uncovered, with different rules for staying and swimming. Clothing and swimwear are required in Covered, with topless sunbathing permitted on the beach.
Hook-ups and private bathrooms
Pitch types differ in their connections and position. Camping places have electricity nearby, while Standard pitches have their own water and electricity connections. Some of these pitches also have drainage. Superior Sea pitches occupy the first row by the sea, Premium Sea the second and third rows.
Comfort Bath pitches measure 100 to 120 m² and have a private air-conditioned bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Outside there is a sink and a small fridge. Some can accommodate larger motorhomes and caravans. Comfort BBQ is a separate category with an outdoor kitchen, barbecue and covered dining area.
Mobile homes with two or three bedrooms
Premium and Superior mobile homes have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, while Superior Couple is designed for two people. Premium Family has three bedrooms and two bathrooms for up to six adults and one child. Its 40 m² interior is complemented by a separate 35 m² covered terrace. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, parking is in the designated zone and the barbecue area is shared. Final cleaning, bed linen and towels are included.
The coast and the island footbridge
The shoreline includes rocks, pebbles, sand and paved areas. Sun loungers and parasols cost extra. A footbridge leads to Koversada island, where the Sea camping places have no car access.
Dogs are allowed for an extra charge and must be registered on arrival. They must be kept on a lead within the campsite and may swim in the designated dog beach area.
Arrival and payment
The 2027 season runs from 23 April to 10 October. Pitch check-in is from 1 pm to 11 pm, mobile home check-in from 3 pm to 11 pm. On departure day, pitches must be vacated by noon and mobile homes by 10 am. Motor vehicles cannot enter or leave between midnight and 7 am.
Restaurants, bars and the sports centre accept card payments. On request, guests may pay their accommodation bill in cash at reception.
