Valkanela Campsite near Vrsar: pitches, mobile homes and swimming
Valkanela, between Funtana and Vrsar, offers pitches and mobile homes. Swimming options include varied stretches of shore and three outdoor pools.
Choosing a pitch and its location
Standard pitches for a tent or motorhome have an electricity connection. Deluxe and Premium Sea pitches also have water and drainage. Premium Sea pitches occupy the second and third rows from the sea. Superior Sea pitches are in the first row, with electricity and water connections.
With a regular booking, reception assigns the accommodation unit number. If you want a particular pitch, you can request its number or location separately. The reservations department confirms such bookings after checking availability.
Mobile homes for couples and families
Superior View Couple has one bedroom and one bathroom. Family and Forest Escape Family homes cater for larger families, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both family types have a kitchen and terrace.
In Premium and Premium Comfort homes, you share a pool with guests staying in other homes. Premium BBQ homes have their own barbecue beside the terrace.
Shore and pools
The bay has pebble and rocky sections, stone sunbathing platforms and developed stretches of shore. The main beach has access adapted for people with reduced mobility. There are beach showers, and sun loungers and parasols are available to hire.
The complex beside the beach has three seasonal freshwater pools. The children's pool is 25 centimetres deep, Junior ranges from 0.90 to 3.40 metres, and Senior is 1.35 metres deep. Senior is also 50 metres long. Loungers and parasols beside the pools are available to hire too.
Activities and meals
Entertainment runs daily in July and August, with a reduced programme outside those months. Tennis, minigolf, trampolining and the floating water park cost extra. In a mobile home, you can cook in your own kitchen or choose one of the campsite restaurants, including Lovor Real Grill and Basilico Pizza Pasta. There is a supermarket and a bakery for food shopping.
Camping with a dog
Dogs can stay on all pitches and in selected mobile home types, including Standard, Comfort, Family and Premium BBQ. A pet supplement applies. Three beaches are designated for dogs to swim, and the campsite also has ten dog showers.
