Stella Maris Campsite in Umag: pitches, mobile homes and pools
Stella Maris in Umag has pitches and mobile homes in a sports resort. Swim in the campsite pools or walk to the nearby beaches.
The campsite is north of Umag’s old town, which you can reach from the resort along the seafront promenade. The tennis courts and Croatia Open stadium belong to the wider resort, which also has restaurants, bars and sports facilities.
Pitch sizes and individual connections
Pitches accommodate up to six people, including children. Economy pitches measure 60 to 80 m² and Classic pitches 70 to 100 m². Both categories have electricity and water connections. Superior pitches range from 60 to 120 m², with some in full shade.
For larger camping equipment, Selected Premium offers 120 to 145 m². Each pitch has two electricity connections, water and a wastewater connection.
If you are travelling without your own camping equipment, you can rent a mobile home with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a covered terrace.
Campsite pools and resort beaches
There are three freshwater pools within the campsite, for adults, children and the youngest swimmers. Sun loungers and parasols beside them are included in your stay. To swim in the sea, you leave the campsite grounds for the resort’s shore.
The pebble beach Laguna is beside the tennis stadium. Further north, Osmica combines paved shoreline with sandy shallows. Beach loungers, parasols and water sports cost extra. The pool beside Osmica is for guests of the Amfora and Stella apartments, not one of the campsite pools included in your stay.
Dogs are welcome on all pitches. They can swim in a designated stretch of shore near Pinia, and the campsite also has a dog-washing area.
Food and arrival
The campsite has an à la carte restaurant, a bar, a bakery and a fruit and vegetable stall.
Pitch check-in starts at noon, and check-out is by noon. Guests arriving between 10 pm and 7 am spend their first night in the car park by the entrance, at an extra charge. Driving inside the campsite is prohibited from midnight to 7 am.
The 2026 season ended on 4 October.
