Valamar Camping Istra in Funtana

Valamar Camping Istra has seaside pitches, holiday homes and glamping tents. Families can use the Aquamar water park and indoor playrooms.

The campsite occupies a peninsula beside Funtana's marina, south of Poreč. In the Sunset Garden village, you can rent a villa with a private pool.

Marina pitches and Sunset glamping

Marina is the northern part of the campsite, beside the sports park and Piazza, the campsite's central square. Sunset pitches lie along the western shore. One of the more specialised options is the Marina Comfort pitch with a kitchen and bathroom, measuring 80 to 100 m². Alongside electricity and water connections, these pitches have an outdoor kitchen with an induction hob and electric grill, plus an air-conditioned bathroom with a shower.

The Sunset Glamping Tent 4+1 has two bedrooms separate from the living room and kitchen. This 48 m² tent also has its own bathroom and a covered terrace. Dogs are not allowed in this tent, but they are welcome on the Marina Comfort pitches with a kitchen and bathroom described above.

Swimming and play at the campsite

Maro Family beach is in the southern part of the campsite, beside the Marbello village. Pebbled and paved sunbathing areas line the beach, with a gentle pebble entry into the sea. Facilities include showers, changing cubicles and an accessible sea entrance for people with disabilities. Sun loungers, parasols and the inflatable water park cost extra. Dogs are not allowed on this beach.

Aquamar has five pools, including a covered baby pool 25 centimetres deep and a children's pool with a water castle. The slides lead into a separate pool, and the Twister slide is ten metres high. Sun loungers and parasols beside the pools are free to use. Pool operation and water temperature depend on weather and technical conditions.

Indoor play spaces include Maro playrooms and a video games area. Istra Theatre hosts film screenings and shows.

Meals on the Piazza and at Fonte

The Piazza has restaurants and a Valfresco market. You can also order groceries and prepared meals for delivery to your pitch or holiday home. Half board is available as an option, with a buffet breakfast and dinner at Fonte restaurant. Accommodation without meals is a separate option.
