Camping Belvedere above Izola: pine pitches and a summer olive grove

Belvedere is a campsite on a hill above Izola. Camp among pines or in the olive grove in summer, with a walk down to the sea.

You can stay in the pine area with a tent, caravan or motorhome. The olive grove is a seasonal camping area where places cannot be reserved in advance. For longer stays, a monthly pitch rental is also available, with up to 70 square metres, a 6 A connection and space for one car.

Pod Belvederjem beach lies below the resort. The coast is about 800 metres from the complex, with an uphill walk back to the campsite. A free hotel minibus runs to the beach from June to September.

The shared sanitary facilities have showers and an area for washing dishes. Washing machines and tumble dryers operate with tokens. A refundable deposit of 10 euros is required for the sanitary facilities key.

From 28 September to 1 November 2026, an adult staying in the pine area pays 10 euros per night, with electricity costing an additional 6 euros per day. Tourist tax and a one-off registration fee are charged separately. A different tariff applies to the motorhome area and seaside pitches.

Dogs are allowed for an additional 4 euros per day. The campsite has a separate dog-washing area.

The campsite reception is at the main hotel reception. The vehicle gates are open from 6 am to 10 pm, with access outside these hours handled by the night receptionist. Check-in is from 1 pm and check-out is by noon.

For swimming beside the old town, Svetilnik beach offers another option, with a grassy sunbathing area on the town’s headland.
