Hotel Sipar in Umag: connecting rooms and swimming in Punta
Hotel Sipar Plava Laguna in Umag has connecting rooms for larger families. Guests use its own pools and the nearby Punta Pool complex in summer.
The hotel stands in Punta, north of Umag's old town. The town centre is about two kilometres away, and the stone-paved beach is around fifty metres from the building.
Connecting rooms and extra beds
The Superior Connected category accommodates up to six people in two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and balcony. Each room has an armchair bed as well as the main beds, so the six-person capacity includes extra beds.
For three guests, the Premium room has 22 to 24 m² of space, a balcony and a sea view. The third guest sleeps on an armchair bed. The Classic room with a sea-side balcony measures almost 19 m² and accommodates two adults. 'Sea side' refers to the room's position, while 'sea view' identifies a separate category.
The hotel's pools and summer Punta Pool
The hotel has three outdoor seawater pools. Guests can use sun loungers and parasols at the pools and on the beach free of charge, but numbers are limited. Pool towels require a deposit.
Nearby Punta Pool is a separate complex shared by guests of Sipar and three other properties: Hotel Umag, Residence Umag and Garden Suites Umag. Children have pools with slides and a separate splash park. Its 2026 season ran from 17 May to mid-September, shorter than the hotel season.
Season and arrival
The hotel's 2026 season runs from 26 March to 1 November. Check-in starts at 2 pm and check-out is by 10 am. Parking carries a charge, and pets are not allowed.
