Hotel Villa Astra in Lovran has eight rooms in a villa dating from 1905. Rooms differ by floor, view and access to a balcony or terrace.
The rooms are spread from the lower ground floor to the second floor. Clement, on the first floor, has a balcony whose longer side faces the garden and shorter side faces the sea. Emerald is on the lower ground floor and overlooks the garden. The Josip room has a terrace.
The house commissioned by Nicolo Guerra
Builder Attilio Maguolo completed the villa in 1905 for Nicolo Guerra, who commissioned it as a summer residence named Villa Guerra. The house follows the Venetian floral Gothic style, with a loggia on the sea-facing façade.
A park beside the coastal promenade
The hotel stands on the seaward side of the main road through Lovran, with a park between the villa and the coast. The park has an outdoor pool. The Lungomare coastal promenade connects Lovran with Opatija.
Check-in is after 3 pm and check-out by 11 am. Pets are accepted on request.
