Tonin processes olives from groves around Vodnjan in its own mill. Its single-variety extra virgin olive oil made from Buža olives appears in the 2026 edition of Flos Olei, and the tasting room accommodates groups of up to 20.

In the 2026 edition of Flos Olei, Tonin’s single-variety extra virgin olive oil made from Buža olives scored 96 out of 100. The aroma has notes of unripe tomato, white apple, basil and mint; the bitterness is pronounced and the pungency balanced. Tonin extra virgin olive oil also won a gold medal at the 2025 International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.
Olive groves on red soil and Tonin’s own mill
Tonin has operated in Vodnjan since 2005 and today processes olives in its own mill. Around 1,200 Buža, Karbonaca and Moražola olive trees grow across six hectares of red soil at 130 to 150 metres above sea level.
Tasting room for groups of up to 20
The tasting room accommodates groups of up to 20, and free parking is available on site. Tonin is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00.
