The only Aquarium with a Sea Turtle Rescue Centre in Croatia

Make your trip to Pula unforgettable and visit the Pula Aquarium. This aquarium is located in the historic Austro-Hungarian fort of Verudela which protected Pula from enemies from the sea. Today, this is the most visited aquarium in Croatia. In addition to meeting about 250 species of marine and freshwater animals, you will learn a lot about the preservation of the sea and its inhabitants.
As a matter of fact, within the Aquarium there is a Sea Turtle Rescue Centre and a recovery center for tortoises, freshwater turtles, lizards and non-venomous snakes. Some of the most popular animals that are worth visiting are definitely sharks and seahorses.
