Hotel Bellevue in Opatija: rooms opposite Slatina Beach
Four-star Hotel Bellevue stands opposite Slatina Beach in Opatija. Its historic building has rooms facing the street and others overlooking the sea.
Ulica Maršala Tita runs between the hotel terrace and Slatina Beach. The neo-Baroque and Art Nouveau façade belongs to Opatija’s older hotel architecture. The same hotel is also listed as Palace Bellevue.
Choosing a room: outlook and space
A street-facing Superior double room measures 15 to 20 m² and accommodates two people, with no extra bed. The Superior double with a sea view has the same floor area. A balcony comes with a separate sea-view category measuring 15 to 25 m², so the name Superior alone does not specify either a view or a balcony.
For up to three guests, the Junior suite provides 30 to 40 m² with a double bed and sofa bed, a living area and a balcony overlooking the sea. Rooms have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The Junior suite described here has a shower, while the street-facing Superior room may have a bath or shower.
Swimming indoors and exploring the town
Use of the 10 × 15-metre indoor seawater pool is included in the room rate. Saunas in the Spa Relax area require advance booking and are subject to availability. The sauna and fitness room are for guests over 16. Massages and treatments cost extra.
Concrete sunbathing terraces dominate Slatina’s waterfront in front of the hotel. Follow the Lungomare to explore Opatija towards the Maiden with the Seagull and Angiolina Park. Inside the hotel, Strauss café offers a terrace facing the town beach.
Meals and arrival arrangements
The hotel restaurant serves buffet breakfast from 7 to 10 am and buffet dinner from 7 to 9 pm. Whether meals are included depends on the accommodation offer selected.
Check-in starts at 3 pm and check-out is by 11 am. Parking is charged and spaces are limited. The hotel accepts pets weighing up to 25 kg for an extra charge.
