Ristorantino Dado in Bale: black risotto, fish and grilled dishes
Black risotto and the catch of the day are the most distinctive part of Dado’s compact menu, alongside pasta, truffle dishes and grilled meats. The restaurant is a few minutes’ walk from Bale’s old town, with tables in the dining room and on the terrace.
Fish from the daily selection
Black risotto has long been one of the dishes associated with Dado. The rest of the seafood selection changes with the daily catch, from mussels in white wine to whole sea bass or sea bream fillet. Roast potatoes or cauliflower cream accompany the fish.
Pasta and the grill
Alongside seafood, the kitchen prepares pljukanci with truffles, risottos and spaghetti. The meat selection is shorter and focused on the grill, including mixed grilled meats and turkey pljeskavica.
A few minutes from the old town
Dado sits just outside Bale’s old town, but the centre is only a few minutes away on foot. There is a bar in the dining room, with additional tables on the outdoor terrace. It is worth booking ahead for a summer dinner.
