Konoba Bocun in Petrovija near Umag

At Bocun, fish features in cold starters, pasta and risotto, while both fish and meat are grilled for main courses. Since taking over in 2025, the new team has changed the menu and arranged the tables throughout a large garden among olive trees.

Smoked sea bream with pljukanci and scallop risotto

The cold fish starters include octopus salad, tuna tartare and salt cod. For pasta, bavette comes with sea bass, while pljukanci is paired with smoked sea bream and sun-dried tomatoes.

The risotto combines scallops, truffles and sheep’s cheese. Grilled fish or meat offers the more straightforward main-course option.

Bocun under new ownership since 2025

Bokun previously operated at the same address. Today’s Bocun is run by a different team, with new contact details and a changed menu.

The change is visible outside as well. Rather than a single terrace by the entrance, tables are arranged in smaller groups across the lawn between olive trees.
