Mol Picio: daily fish and house-made pasta in Colone

At Mol Picio, they prepare fresh pasta alongside the daily fish selection. The house tagliatelle with shellfish and cuttlefish are served for two.

The daily fish selection may include sea bream, sea bass and turbot, priced by weight. They also prepare mussels buzara-style and cuttlefish risotto.

For Pasta alla Mol Picio, they make tagliatelle with clams, queen scallops and mussels in a cuttlefish and homemade tomato sauce. They serve homemade fuži with boškarin beef ragù, slow-cooking the meat for six hours.

The meat dishes also include rolls filled with slow-roasted duck. For a meat-free meal, you can choose aubergine parmigiana or a plant-based burger.

A name from the little pier

Mol Picio means “little pier” in Italian. Local winegrowers once gathered at this spot. Today, the restaurant stands right on the Colone coast, with access through the campsite grounds.
