At 2. Peron, the cooks make their own pasta and grill steaks over an open fire. The Lušetić family also serves spirits from its own distillery.

The pasta at Peron is made to a grandmother’s recipe. Fuži comes with beef or game sauce, while those who prefer filled pasta can choose cheese-stuffed rafioli served with sage. The gnocchi with mushrooms and truffles are baked.

Seasonal dishes include asparagus, porcini mushrooms and maneštra with young corn.

Steaks from the open hearth

The cooks grill Black Angus rump steak over the open hearth in view of diners. You can order it as a whole steak or as tagliata, sliced and served with truffle potatoes. They also grill bistecca alla fiorentina, while fillet steak with white truffles is a seasonal dish. Pork ribs with potatoes are available on request.

Semolina mousse and the family’s spirits

For dessert, semolina mousse is served on a white-chocolate base with strawberry sauce. Chocolate lovers can choose a semifreddo with almonds.

After the meal, you can taste spirits made by the Lušetić family at their Kotal distillery. Anton Toni Lušetić was already distilling in the 1980s. The family follows its own recipes today, using sage in Kuš and ageing Barik grape-pomace spirit in small Slavonian oak barrels. Bottles are also available to buy at the restaurant.

Gault&Millau 2026

The Gault&Millau inspectors awarded the restaurant 14 out of 20 points for 2026. Their review singled out steak tartare, homemade fuži with truffles and boškarin beef roasted in red wine.

Visiting Cerovlje

The name 2. Peron, meaning Platform 2, refers to the railway that contributed to Cerovlje’s development in the late 19th century.

The restaurant has a private car park and access for people with disabilities. Pets are welcome. Booking a table ahead is recommended at weekends.
