Porto Bus restaurant at Colone near Bale

At Porto Bus by Colone, families can choose pizzas and grilled dishes. Children have their own menu and a playground beside the terrace.

Alongside classic pizzas, the cooks make the Istarska with ombolo, cured pork loin, and Istrian sausage. If you prefer a pizza without tomato, the house Porto Bus is topped with mushroom cream, bacon and onion.

For a meat-free meal, you can choose the Caprese panuozzo, filled with tomato and mozzarella.

They also prepare pasta with courgettes and prawns. Gluten-free pasta is available for a supplement.

For a shared lunch, there is a mixed meat platter for two. You can also order individual grilled dishes, such as Istrian sausage or steak, with roasted vegetables and other sides. The fresh vegetables used in the kitchen come from the campsite’s Fresh Market garden.

With your meal, you can order Damjanić wines by the glass or bottle. The beer selection includes San Servolo.

A family meal by the beach

The restaurant is a few steps from Colone beach, with a children’s playground beside the terrace. The children’s menu includes smaller pizzas and pasta portions, such as Margherita and bolognese.

For dessert, you can choose the cake of the day or ice cream. The cooks also make a sweet Dolce vita pizza with ricotta, walnuts, honey and apricot cream.
