Svetilnik beach in Izola: a grassy headland beside the old town
Svetilnik is a town beach in Izola with grass and pine trees. A seafront walk leads here from the old town.
The sunbathing area lies at the northern end of the old town. You can lie on the grass on land, while small pebbles cover the entry into the sea. Pine trees shade part of the beach.
An outdoor library operates on the beach in July and August.
From the harbour, where Hotel Marina stands, Kopališka ulica follows the seafront towards the beach.
