Ambrela Beach in Pula: a pebble cove on Verudela
Ambrela is a pebble cove on Pula’s Verudela peninsula. Woodland provides shade behind the beach, with rocks along the edges of the cove.
Swimming and shade by the cove
White pebbles cover the central bathing area, with rocks at either end of the cove. The pebble section lets you enter the water without climbing down from the rocks. For a rest in the shade, there is woodland behind the beach, away from the open strip beside the water.
Ambrela attracts many swimmers in summer. Water shoes make walking over the larger pebbles and rocky edges easier.
Getting there and beach facilities
The beach lies on the western side of Verudela, outside Pula’s old town. There is a large car park near the cove.
The beach has showers and changing cubicles. Sunbed and parasol hire form part of the summer offer, with places to eat and drink nearby.
