A footpath leads to the sunbathing platforms on the peninsula’s southeastern shore, with Yacht restaurant as a coastal landmark. This part of Pula lies outside the old town, in the hotel area of Verudela.
The stone slabs offer a more level place to sit or lie by the sea, while entering the water means negotiating rocks and a moderately sloping seabed. Water shoes are useful on the rocky sections. For a break in natural shade, the pine woods behind the shore are separate from the sun-exposed platforms beside the water.
Equipment hire and time at the beach
Sun loungers and parasols on the beach are available to hire for an extra charge. Equipment included at the hotel pools is a separate service, so a hotel stay should not be taken to include free beach hire.
Histria Yacht beach was awarded the Blue Flag for 2026. This annual label covers beach management and environmental conditions, rather than guaranteeing unchanging swimming conditions every day.
