Lipovica Beach in Opatija: a pebble cove beside the coastal promenade
Lipovica is a pebble beach between central Opatija and Volosko. Pines and a playground line the promenade, with paid parking above the beach.
You can walk to Lipovica along the coast from Opatija or Volosko. The promenade runs behind the pebble shore.
Pebbles cover the recessed part of the coast, with concrete areas alongside. Pines shade the space behind the beach, while the open shore is in the sun. There is also a playground beside the bathing area.
