Lone, Rovinj

Lone Bay lies close to central Rovinj while also forming part of the protected Zlatni rt and Škaraba forest park. The main shore is organised, with smaller rocky bathing spots towards the edges of the bay.

The pebble section offers the easiest entry into the water and is therefore the more practical choice for families. Shade begins a few metres behind the beach beneath tall trees. Seasonal food and drink outlets operate around the bay, but opening times should be checked on the day.

Swimming close to town

The bay is accessible from Rovinj on foot or by bicycle along the coast. If you arrive by car from Bale, use a designated parking area outside the forest park and continue on foot. Motor vehicles, open fires and littering are not permitted inside the protected area.
