Njive Beach on Kamenjak: pebble shore and access

Njive is a cove on Kamenjak's west coast near Premantura. Rocks surround the pebble beach, with parking areas beside the unpaved road.

Entering the sea and shade behind the beach

At the head of the cove, you enter the sea over pebbles. Rocky shore continues on either side of the beach, with stone surfaces extending underwater along these edges. Water shoes are useful for walking across the rocks.

Pine trees provide shade behind the beach, while the central pebble shore is exposed to the sun. Because of currents and boats around Kamenjak, stay close to shore when swimming.

The approach from the parking areas

Unpaved roads through Lower Kamenjak lead towards the cove. A final track branches west from the parking areas beside the main road down to the beach. Walk this last section.

Drive only on marked roads and park in designated areas. Leave the grassland beside the cove clear to protect its habitats. Camping is not permitted on Lower Kamenjak.
