Fiesa Beach near Piran
Fiesa is a public beach near Piran, between the sea and two lakes. Pebbles and concrete bathing areas adjoin a lawn for relaxing.
The pebbly stretches have shallow water. There are no lifeguards on the public beach.
Renovation work completed in July 2026 included paths paved with local sandstone and a children's playground. The refurbished toilets are accessible to people with reduced mobility, and the beach also has showers and a drinking fountain.
The toilets open from 7 am to midnight from June to August and from 8 am to 9 pm in September and October. They close from 1 November to 31 May. Sun loungers and parasols are available to hire from May to September.
Access and public parking
The coastal footpath between Piran and Fiesa is closed because of the risk of rockfalls. As of October 2026, no reopening date has been set. You can reach the bay by road via Pacug and Fiesa without using that path.
Public parking in zone 104 has seasonal rates:
| Period | Each started hour for stays of up to 10 hours | Daily rate for stays over 10 hours |
|---|---|---|
| 1 March to 31 October | €1.80 | €18 |
| 1 November to 28 February | €1 | €10 |
These rates apply to the public zone, not to hotel car parks or overnight stays at the campsite.
