Bura Bura (Salbunić) beach in Ližnjan
Bura Bura, also called Salbunić, is a beach in Ližnjan’s Kuje bay. It has a pebble shore, rocky sections and a path with benches behind the beach.
The pebble curve and rocky shore
For a pebble entry into the sea, choose the western curve of the beach beside the grass. The shore becomes rockier towards the east. The fishing pier is north of the beach, beside the part of the bay used by boats.
Salbunić covers roughly 150 metres of indented coastline. A path with benches runs behind the bathing area.
Walking from Ližnjan
The coastal approach is about 2.2 kilometres from St Martin’s church. The route follows Munat and Ližnjanska cesta, then Put za Puntice towards Kuje bay. The final approach to the beach is unpaved.
