Barbariga–Mandriol beach in Barbariga bay
Barbariga–Mandriol is a pebble beach by olive groves on the north side of Barbariga bay. The route from the village ends with an unpaved stretch.
The shore curves into a bay between the headlands of Barbariga and Debeljak, with the beach along its northern side. Pebbles cover most of the shore, with some rocky sections. Olive groves lie behind it, outside the built-up area.
The seabed slopes gently. There are also moorings in the bay, so swim from the beach, away from moored boats and boat traffic. This bathing area lies west of the main stretch of coast beside the Barbariga holiday settlement.
Walking from the village and spending time on the beach
From Barbariga, follow Fažanska street west. A turn-off to the south leads past olive groves to the shore, with an unpaved final stretch. The map pin marks the beach, not a car park.
Low vegetation predominates beside this stretch of shore, so bring your own sun protection for a longer stay. Olive groves behind the beach do not guarantee an all-day shady spot for your towel.
Bathing water quality in 2026
