Novigrad town beach: stone terraces beneath the old town walls
Novigrad’s town beach lies beneath the old town walls. You can walk from the centre to its stone terraces and jetties.
The shore by Belveder and Rotonda is rocky and paved, with built steps leading into the sea. East of Rotonda, it continues as Rivarela, a bathing area beside the promenade of the same name.
Porta a marina, a passage with a rounded arch beside the Belveder town loggia, leads from the old town towards the sea. Sailors once used it to bring food supplies to their ships and to load and unload cargo.
