Medveja Beach near Lovran
Medveja is a long pebble beach below Mount Učka, about three kilometres south of Lovran. A small harbour marks the north end of this Kvarner bay.
The shore curves from the harbour towards the southern part of the village. Trees line the back of the beach, behind the open stretch of pebbles beside the water.
The D66 coastal road between Lovran and Mošćenička Draga runs beside the beach. The campsite and part of the village lie across the road, on the inland side.
For a swim in a smaller, secluded cove in Medveja, Cesara is an alternative.
