Polynesia / Sol Katoro Beach, Umag

Polynesia / Sol Katoro Beach lies in the Katoro tourist area near Umag. Its shoreline combines paved, pebble and rocky sections.

Showers and changing cabins are available by the shore, with bars and restaurants nearby. Above the beach are a volleyball court, a smaller children's activity area, a tennis academy and a water-sports centre. Some services operate seasonally and may charge a fee.

A day in north-western Istria

The beach can be reached from Umag by tourist train or by bicycle along the coast. It is considerably farther from Bale than the local and Rovinj-area beaches, so it makes most sense when swimming is combined with a wider visit to Umag and its surroundings.
