Saccorgiana Beach in Pula: a pebble cove beneath the pines
At Saccorgiana in Pula, pebbles give way to rocky edges. Rest beneath the pines above the shore and combine a summer swim with activities on the water.
The beach and the ground above it
The cove lies in southern Pula, near the Horizont apartment resort in the Verudela area. Stones and rocks flank the curved pebble beach, so water shoes help when walking across this mixed surface.
A grassy area with pine trees lies above the beach. You can find natural shade here between swims, while parts of the shore beside the water remain exposed to the sun.
A beach bar and summer water activities
Zeppelin beach bar stands beside the cove, with loungers and a terrace for a break from swimming. In summer, you can hire a paddleboard or kayak here. The hire season differs from that of the bar, which also opens on autumn and winter weekends.
Arriving by city bus
Nearby stops on Pula’s city bus network are named Zlatne stijene / Saccorgiana A and B, serving opposite directions. They are not on the beach, so the final part of the journey to the shore is on foot.
