Škrbići Beach in Opatija: a small bay on the Lungomare

Škrbići is a small beach in Opatija with pebbles and concrete sunbathing areas. Pines behind the beach offer shade for a rest.

Rocks border both sides of the bay. Pebbles occupy its central section, with sunbathing areas along the edges. The shade beneath the pines is behind the bathing area, above the shore.

The town's renovation in 2013 included adding material to the shallows and sunbathing area, restoring the seawall and improving stormwater drainage.

To walk here from central Opatija, follow the Lungomare towards Volosko. Škrbići lies north of Tomaševac and Hotel Ambasador, before Hotel Miramar.
