Beaches around Zlatni rt, Rovinj

The protected Zlatni rt forest park is edged by organised pebble coves, smaller rocky bathing spots and stretches with more demanding access to the sea.

Lone and Kurent are the more practical choices for families and a longer stay because they offer pebble entries with shade behind the shore. Towards the Montauro and Punta Corrente capes the coast becomes rockier, and some high, steep sections are unsuitable for bathing. Choose a place according to safe entry into the water, not simply by finding free space on the rock.

Paths between the coves

The best way to explore the area is on foot or by bicycle along the maintained paths between the coves. Cars remain in designated areas outside the forest park. Facilities vary from one cove to another, while motor traffic, open fires, damage to vegetation and littering are prohibited throughout the protected area.
