Bačvice
Bačvice is a short, closely enclosed cove beside Cisterna. Pebbles collect in the centre, while rock clearly defines the edges and gives the place an intimate scale.
This is not a shore for a broad spread of loungers and equipment. It best suits a few hours of swimming and visitors who do not mind covering the last section on an unpaved approach. Permanent services should not be expected on the beach itself.
A small place can be overwhelmed by only a few carelessly placed objects or cars brought too close to the water. Bačvice works best when vehicles are left farther away and only what is genuinely needed comes into the cove.
